Migrate from Magazine Plaza to Blogger template 1 Year, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi-
I have a site, www.savvychicknews.com, that I think would be better served, and more user friendly/interactive if I used the new Blogger Plazza template instead. Is there a way to transfer some of the articles and information to the new template, or would I have to just start over again with a fresh install?

I am willing to pay for help in doing this. If you can help me, please let me know what you will charge for this service. Thank You!

You can just install the template, and publish the module positions you need in the positions available in the template.
This would take you less than 30 min to do
Unless you need some modifications done to the template before you start to use it.
If you should need any help do let me know about it

I can even re-publish the already written articles this way? Can I install the new template on the same website (hosting/domain). If so how would I set up the new template on my domain, copy the old stuff over, and make the Blogger template be the main template that is seen when you go to www.savvychicknews.com instead of it being a subdomain.

Thanks!

Yes you can. That's why we choose Joomla because its so flexible. We can change the template without worrying about our contents. Yes you can install a new template on the same website (hosting/domain). If you use Joomla 1.5 for your site, then install a new template from Extensions->Install/Uninstall, upload your blogger_plazza template package from there. Then set it as your site template from Extensions->Template Manager.
