I have to say, for the most part, I've been reluctant to reup my subscription to this site. Because of the fact that most of the templates that are now being released seem to be riddled with bugs attached to the componants that are being developed - I've made the decison that this last renewal will too in fact be my last renewal...
There are componants here that were developed months ago that are still completely unusable in a production sence and totally beta - riddled with bugs, and there doesn't seem to be any real progress in getting the issues taken care of.
Although TemplatePlazza has a lot of great ideas, I shouldn't have to pay to download a template that has to be completely redeveloped from the ground up to get it to work properly.
My thoughts, fix what's broken and stop promising "monthly" releases... in fact, you should really put all subscriptions on hold until the actual templates that you have PREVIOUSLY released work - making it worth the money already spent by your subscribers... we shouldn't have to pay now, download now, and wait for you to fix it a year or two later...

Agreed... I used to have a pro subscription. I was actually quite a big defender of TP for a while... I haven't renewed and won't I simply come by to see how TP's templates are comparing(when they finally release). Unfortunately, they are not only consistently late, but also behind in style and functionality. The template variations are a joke as well.
I do however like the work they have been doing for the Mobile integration, but that's about the only thing I can say positive at this point.
It really makes me laugh, a simple message from Andy on the first of the month with a little hint of what to expect i.e. time-line, theme, features, would go such a long way! I would have renewed and I'm sure other would agree this would make a huge difference, and show you actually appreciate your subscribers.
Oh well, I'm afraid this will always be a sub-par template shop with a fancy skin.

You Sir, owe me an apology. In the past you attacked me and insulted me because I posted arguments against templateplazza. This was back in the day when that little shit for brains retardo was a mod and would censur those who would protest yet publish those like yourself who would insult and attack anyone who was negative about the practices of templateplazza. I pointed out to you than that just because you were at the moment satisfied that at some point, one surly to come, that when it effected you, you would be the one to complain. That point has come.... I await your apology.

So bad I wont even bother downloading it from the one of the dozens of warez sites it was available on even before it was listed here on their front page.

Hey Bill,
Why did you not keep that site up? It would be a good place for folks to try to get this place to get off their tails and start doign right by their paying customers... I'm STILL waiting on fixes to componants that were released a year ago that are still full of problems...

The thing i finds most interesting in all this mess with Templateplazza is that no one gives a shit. No one cares to even reply to us when we ask when and what the next template will be. They just ignore us, and thats what i think will be the death of templateplazza sooner than we can imagine. I have NEVER, EVER, seen anyone treat paying customers this way. Sure other template providers can be late, but atleast they tell their customers and apologies for it, and almost always show some screens of the upcoming template.
Big Fu#!ing shame on you templateplazza.

There are truely only 1 or two here who actually treat the clients here with any amount of respect and actually ARE in fact helpful (Erwin being probably #1 in my book...)...
Its disappointing to say the least, because the templates here are off the chart in my book, but the support is null for the most part. I think Erwin does his best with what he is afforded here, but it's a "learn as you go" experience as well for them as it is for the customer base.
I think - at best - this site needs to recruit some beta testers who have PHP/MySQL code experience, and maybe a few documentation writers to help with getting things up to par. (They also need to get a few folks to go back and actually FIX the problems in the current template line before adding to the long list of templates that just don't do what they are supposed to do...)
Take the latest release "Movie Plazza" for example... download the template, and actually do a ?tp=1 and compare the layouts against the layout example images so you know where all the module placements are... 1) The module placements aren't correct (example: banner is actually user4), and 2) the Skeletons don't layout the way the images say they layout...
You'd think they would at least get the module placements right, but here, a couple weeks after release, they havent' even fixed that much...
It's sad --- but, because new clients don't have access to the support forums to see what sort of problems they are having here before they buy, people get suckered into paying...
I spent my last penny here... most of what they are putting out here is great - and the mobile phone templates are fantastic... but lets actually make them work the way they are supposed to work... (Like when you click on MENU have it actually give you a menu?)
