Good morning guys I was wondering if you could shed some light i am having on a problem with a joomla install.I have about 6 joomla site running on my web server. No real problems with them. I have been trying to install the new version 1.5 on my server but all i get is a blank page. I deleted and ftped the files up 3 or 4 times just to see if there was a problem with the files but I get the same problem a blank page on the install page. My server meets all of the requirements. Do you have a .htaccess file in root where you try to install it now?
Are you sure you have uploaded the full package?

yes there is a htacess file in there and I think I have everything upload. i have installed it fine on other servers

Try deleting everything then download a fresh zip file. Download Joomla 1.5.7

Then re-upload everything using ftp client, then retry your installation. Let us know, see ya!

Did it still the same thing, do you know anyone else with this type of problem

With support server and this file fresh no corrupt. I think You can download Joomla fresh files.
