hi rick,

1] you must have minifrontpage module install and published.
2] you can edit on the index.php file of your template, and find the code above (from your post above mine), and change it into your minifrontpage module position.

i think you can install and publish minifrontpage module on user1, user2 or user5 module position on your template.

maybe this is helpfull

regards

i tried using those positions user1, user2, user5 and it always ends up on the Right Hand Column????

Here is the layout of the Template Position

Rick Estrada I found this in another post in the forum.. Is this the way to do it? But what file do you edit as the member who suggested this did not list the file to change??
Code:

<?php if (JRequest::getVar('view') == 'frontpage') : ?> <jdoc:include type="modules" name="user5" style="xhtml" /> <?php endif; ?>
QUOTE:
Just change "user5" to whatever you are using.
Rick Estrada I searched the Forums and read but I am having a hard time understanding what you replied to other members on how to get this to display on the default FRONT PAGE of Joomla 1.5.3
