Rob H	Troy, Its pretty straight forward to install a template once Joomla is installed. Simply upload your new template to your template folder on your domain where Joomla is installed. To work on the files within the template you need to change the permissions, you can do this using your right arrow key in most ftp software and selecting properties, change them to 777. Login to Joomla, select Extensions, Template Manager and select the new template .. now make this the Default template using the Default button.
