rwin_schro Regarding the last image that is shown, yes this is how this minifp version works. I think the proper way is minifp should look at on the introtext part 1st and if it found an image then make the thumbnail. If there's no image found on the introtext part then continue to look on the fulltext part. But in this minifp version, it will thumbnailed an image found last which is on the fulltext part.

But if you sure that you always have inserted image(s) on your introtext part of your content text editor, then you could just hack your minifp, on this line,

Code:

preg_match_all("#<img(.*)>#", $rows[$r]->introtext . $rows[$r]->fulltext, $txtimg);
Change those into,
Code:

preg_match_all("#<img(.*)>#", $rows[$r]->introtext, $txtimg);
The above code line is inside the helper.php file if you used Joomla 1.5.x or on the mod_minifrontpage.php if you still use the Joomla 1.0.x version. Hope that clear enough and works.
rwin_schro Yes I see it works now...but the strange is the other image from another article on the left one is thumbnailed successfully even you didn't change it's file permission right?...and could you re-test it with file permission 755?

Arthur Askey Just a point it shows the last image not first, is that normal?
Arthur Askey What a star!!!**********

Chmodding to 777 fixed it.

You may notice the theme is from another site. But this is why I changed to you guys as your support is fantastic. The other was none existent. So i'll stay and eventually swap the theme to yours.

Also noticed your themes intergrate latest developments from software companys which is great...thanks again!
rwin_schro Hi Arthur,

Could you check if that thumb image is exist on that folder and then if it exist also check this file permission, is it readabale/executable or not.

Let us know then.
Arthur Askey I left the red x up there so anyone may be able to see and help. www.britmovie.net
