ronysyz congrats amd great thanks for your information about your success
Pepa Thanks very much, it solved a long lasting problem for me!
Also I had forgotten to set the page_peel module to the "absolute" position I have created with the code above...
No it's working perfectly!
iMike SOLUTION

i solved it !!!

with the hint from ddadmin @ dynamicdrive.com:

"This is really a z-index issue with the CSS menu you're using actually, and not with (the module) per say. In your CSS, I'd try and give the "#navigation" ID a high z-index.

I've set mine to 2500 -opposed to the snipped suggested above - and it works like a charm now!
iMike i've done this and it displays the peel in top corner of page thereafter.

But now it peels BEHIND the graphic/other elements as described in here

Astrid Make sure you have a module position "absolute" or use a template that has one. To create this yourself make the following changes:

In index.php under
Code:

<body id="page" class="<?php echo $yTools->getCurrentStyle(); ?> <?php echo $itemcolor; ?>">:
add this:
Code:

<?php if($this->countModules('absolute')) { ?> <div id="absolute"> <jdoc:include type="modules" name="absolute" /> </div> <?php } ?>
in template layout.css add:
Code:

/* added for pagepeel*/ div#absolute { position: absolute; z-index: 15; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; }
in templatedetails.xml under positions add:
Code:

<position>absolute</position>
Ricardo Sousa Please provide us with a link or more description of the problem!

Thanks
