Mark Go to your Joomla Global Configuration and look at your "Path to Temp-folder" setting, if your temp folder setting is incorrect you will see this error. You will have to know the abosolute path to your tmp folder thu but this can been found pretty easy with a php script.

Chacapamac I work on this for plus than 8 hours (I like the extension) work perfect on my local MAMP install.

I try:

• Add memory, php.ini & configuration.php

• I CHMOD the install file and the complete Joomla install to everything possible...
Here I try The legacy files and the 1.5
(my live site is Joomla 1.5.2 with legacy 1.0)

• I extract legacy and 1.5, file RECHMOD.... and try to install manually

I can give you a temporary administration pass if you want to help:

Site:http://www.grafcomm.ca/joomlagraf/chromatophore/administrator/

username: visit
pass: visit

Because I’m ready to trow the towell and find another components at that point.....
RonySYZ Hello Chacapamac,
what about if you try to extract that files?
Chacapamac Do you have a way to install manually
Chacapamac No problem on my MAMP local install.

But when synchronize on my live server The module work good in the frontend but wen you go to the Extension Manager in the module tab you get that error:
XML Parsing Error at 1:30. Error 18: unknown encoding?

and when you go to the published module the parameters are not there (No parameter) and when you try to create a new module (module manager) only the button is there, not the text.....

If I try to install live I got the JFolder::create: Could not create directory error

Need help, this is a good extension....
