Can you recommend a template that would best suit a community, but also include videos, forums and classifieds, too?

Would communa be the best best, adding in adsmanager, seyra and fireboard, etc?

Comuna with seyret? i'm not sure. Coz comuna using jquery and seyret using mootools, as i know, mootools and jquery can't working properly together

maybe Directory plazza better for that

Another suggestion would be to use each respective template for it's relative function as part of one complete site. This is absolutely doable - especially if you want to keep the same menu/navigation structure across all sub-sites.

Otherwise, you can still link each up independently of each other, but it would require you're having to have a separate domain structure for each site on your webhost plan. (For example, my webhost plan allows for three separate hosted domains ... with the option for adding more for something like $1.95/month each).

Regarding your questions:
Comuna have been changed in the last few months to support Mootools anyway Mootools vs JQuery is never an easy task. You request AdsManager Seyret and Fireboard so i will suggest latest: Property Plazza. Why? Is more solid and robust template that has a menu with mootools so no errors with this script are expected anyway you can try to see which one is best to do it!

Multiple templates or multiple domains are def not my suggestion ( Sorry Thomas )
