When i put a break line in xtypo, it don't show the text after the break line. Why ?

can't seem to make xtypo show up in custom html modules in joomla 1.5. It worked great in Joomla 1.0. The Xtypo however does show up when placed in a regular article, but i don't understand why it won't in html editor like it did in joomla 1.0? any inputs would be great. thanks
