Looking for a simple avatar solution 3 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi everyone,

I have been asked to add a simple community style avatar solution to a site I am working on where when people post messages their avatars show up ... I don't even know how to get it so people can add their avatars to their user area... let alone making sure they show up in posts?

I have looked at avatar gallery 2 and it does not work for me... too complicated, and they want a license PER domain which I think is a bit too much considering this stuff is supposed to be open source or at least at club membership...

so is the super thumb what I need? How do I get it so users can see link to add their own avatars and what do I need to do to make sure on posts their avatars show up?

Is there a way to display avatars horizontally like community blog sites displaying their "contributors"?

Thanks in advance for answering all my questions and taking time for this.

Regards,

Fred.

I think you should take a look at www.joomlapolis.com, they make a extension called Community Builder.
But this again depends on how much of its functions you need?
Or maybe this can do the job for you: http://www.azrul.com/products/my_blog.html
