Manual Uninstall 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago

I have just upgraded from RC3 to RC4 and believe I may have deleted/lost some of the files.
Unfortunately, I can no longer install the component again, nor uninstall as I get errors both times.
Are there any articles or instructions on manually uninstalling so that I can reinstall from the beginning again?

Hello Mark,
Basicly, you can uninstall this extensions as others extensions. For your case, i guess while you upgraded from RC3 to RC4, there are several data base that they have vanish.
if it like that, you could be not uninstall from your back-end, so please delete this component with manually and then try to install again.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I cannot uninstall using Joomla as I get the following error:
Plugin Uninstall: Manifest File invalid or not found
I do not know what the manifest file would be, but if anyone can tell me, I'll see if I can upload it manually then perform an uninstall...

sorry, i'm sure there is something into RC4 and about their upgrade. maybe you can ask someone to help you at joomla.org forums.
