Olá, tens razão, sou portuguesa...

... it's the IE7 browser... but if you tried it and had no problems, then it's not a server problem, but most probably a IE problem. Although, I tried it on a PC with IE5, and had the same problem.

Could it be a problem with my internet connection? I have a "Kanguru" usb device.

I think I'll try it in my school with a different internet connection.

Amelia,

I dont think that this can be a problem of your ISP...

Kanguru is a good one and i have used it too in the past...

Maybe some error with IE

I will check it better!

Best Regards,

hello

well I just realized that the freeze problem has nothing to do with the Target=_blank option. Without it the menu freezes the clicked image too. We do not see it because it opens another page and when we go back, the menu is refreshed.
I tried open the menu in another PC with another ISP and got the same result. Even in IE6. The clicked images stayes open (streched), but the other images move normaly on mouse over. On mouse out the clicked image stays opened. It is strange the it only happens with me. I do believe it is a Joomla install problem...

well, in fact this menu did not move when I had JomComment installed. I had to remove this module to have it working. I did a test, though. I installed a new Joomla site and added only the Kwick menu to it. No additional modules were installed. Then, I tested the menu, and it froze just the same. So I imagine that it is not a module problem... unless the modules installed on other joomla sites may interfere. I have a lot of modules installed. It's a bit late now, so tomorrow I'll send a list of them...

it isnt a problem with the default joomla install

ive had a look at this, and cant seem to replicate your issues

you could try the following

open up imageMenu.js in the modules/kwick_menu/js directory

and find

Code:

el.addEvent('click', function(e){ el.select(); });
and replace with this
Code:

el.addEvent('click', function(e){ el.select(); el.hide(); });
this mostlikely wont do anything, but as i cant replicate the problem i cant fix it anyways hope that helps
