This is a meantime updated of minifrontpage.php file. With this little updated, some bugs/errors like:
- missing $class_sep warning/error,
- png images warning/error issues, or
- loading time issues
hopefully not happen again. Please, feel free to download and paste/re send to your module folder after unpack this file.

And if you still experience some kind of errors with this updated file, just let me know. Thanks all.

I am getting this type of error if no image is selected in the story: Warning: imagegif(): Unable to open '/home/www/xxxxxxx/images/stories/flags/Canada_thumb.gif' for writing in /home/www/xxxxxxx/modules/mod_minifrontpage.php on line 141

However, I have not yet tried the update will in the morning.

There is also another issue with the upgrade the thumbnail image is just generating a black box of the images not a picture and I also just noticed that subject of the story is printed faintly in the minifrontpage.

Do you have any live site to see this error?

Did you intend to show more than one articles on your minifrontpage? If you did, then is another articles - in this group of minifp - which have image on it, show the thumbnail properly?
