Just fill the Section IDs parameter with section where your category(s) belong to. Don;t leave it empty coz the default one will be inserted.

I have a little issue here:

Everything works fine, but it won't generate a thumbnail for a "normal" (non MOSimage) image. The image is displayed in the intro, before the text.

Hi Saso,

Unfortunately you can't do that. Mooset Tree is a component and the minifp is expecting only content items to be displayed on it.
