Im trying to use the module to build something like "read today news" "read yesterday news" , i cloned the module and set the novelty days to 1 (to see yesterday news) but the cloned module shows today news too. Any guide do this correctly ? , anyone have done it ? is there any way to set the period of novelty days using < than and > than ... ?, thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.

If your template have any module positions on it, than your template support minifrontpage, because minifp is just a module. Keep learning Joomla then Andy.
