Hi,

I made a post in the template support area for the Bulletin plazza, but The problem is with the Mini Frontpage.

I thought I'd continue here. Pehaps someone cn help me resolve this problem.

Site URL: http://www.internetmarketingtips4u.com/

What I did. I wanted to uplaod some different images to the modules created with Mini Frontpage.

I uloaded 1 image in the media manager. Then I put that image in the section, then Category, the article by using the image button under the editor.

When I checked my site, there is a Black box where the image should be on the front page, but when clicking on the article, the image shows just fine!

I did see where someone else had a similar problem, but resolved it by ticking "No" to keep imge attributes (or whatever it is).

But when I did that, nothing changed. I am still stuck with a black box where the image should be.

Can someone tell me how to fix this problem please?

I've been working on this for 3 days, and cannot find a solution!

I absolutely need to get this site finished by Tues of this week.

Thanks in advance ...

Mary

Update: For someone else who may have the same problem

I figured out the problem.

I was using a gif file. I changed it to a jpg file, and finally got the image showing.

The wierd part about it when I used a gif file was that a ghost image was created in the media center in the stories folder. It was black though.

Hello everybody,

I am quite happy with the module, but is it possible to link news image to other page than full page? If i click on the image it brings me to the full story page, but I need it to open another page (in different category).

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi Meisyal,
Thanks for quick reply.
I did as you advised and can't solve my problem. That is why i post it here.
The image does show in the news module, when you click on that it will open "full story news page". I am trying to find out is it possible to link that image thumbnail with other page in joomla, let say with "Contact Us" page.

Thanks
Regards

Hi Rony,

Thanks!

Problem was solved.

I had everything in the sections and cats set up.

The problem with them not showing up was because I forgot to set the "read more" button up. For some reason MFP will not show a description unless one is marked by that deviding line.

Appreciate you help!

Hello,

I have a problem with thumbnails. According to your manual

Show thumbnails: Select Yes if you want to show the thumbnails of the article image that have been set using mosimage mambot or inserted image that have been uploaded to the /images/stories/ folder. For MiniFP ver1.1, only the images that on the last inserted on the intro text or full text will be build as a thumbnail. And You better check the MiniFrontPage mean time update also on this forum, it will fix some of the thumbnail generation issues.

in Article I have two images, one inserted as an image and another through mosimage.

The problem is that the module take the default image inserted, and I need to be inserted image through mosimage.

As we set?
