E-mail from Contactmap not being send?

Hello, on my test page I'm using Contactmap and in the module I have tried two of my e-mail adresses as recipient. When I send a mail through the contactform the mail doesn't arrive. What can I do about this? Thanks!

Hi the module uses the default joomla messages format for the confirmation message, so it will depends on how your template display it. Please switch the template back to protostar to see how it works

I'm sorry, that one is working fine. But after reparing the database tables and emptying the cache the ContactMap form isn't working.

So the mail from joomla default com_contact also doesn't send the email?

I have set the template to protostar then it gives a more clear error message :
Error displaying the error page: Invalid address: : Invalid address:

and found that indeed there's a change in Joomla 3.5.1 mail API that causes some incompatibilities with some extensions (see http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=708&p=3394059 ) and looks like there is no really solution right now.

But anyway can you try to do these things, and let me know the result?
    1. make a new joomla default form (using com_contact) and then try, will emails sent properly?
    2. Go to Extensions->Manage->Database then click the Fix button, then try to send emails again?
    3. Go to System-> Clear Cache and try send emails again?

I'll also make some tests on my end.

Can you try to switch the template temporaily for that page and re-try it? I'd like to see whether it's something related to template or something else.

    Hello,
I've tried some things, at first using a different module but that didn't work. Then I tried using a 'real' domainname by changing this in the DIrect Admin (I have a testdomainname "tommaat.nl") but that also didnt work.
Sorry, but I can't get it to work.

Hmm strange, it looks like the form is not processed. Clicking the button always forward user to http://94.228.131.44/~bruhenuit/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1&Itemid=101 not processing the form. Can you try to move the module to other position and let me know the result?

I've send a test e-mail from the backend and I received that one. I'm using the SMTP option. Is it oké if I give you access to the backend?

Hi did you receive any emails from your server? For example registration email when a new user is registered, or email from joomla com_contact? The module uses the jooma sendmail function so if your server sendmail working properly then it should be working properly too.

Or maybe checking your spam folder?
