How to make banner responsive

Have a look at gordonsbay.travel. There are two banners in on the homepage and all works fine except when I switch to responsive. The picture in the banner does not resize and I cannot find the setting for that.

    Hi, I have visited your website and unable to spot the two banners you mentioned. Can you point me to it?

    Hi, go to gordonsbay.travel homepage, scroll down and after "Explore Gordon's Bay" you will find "Sponsored Ads". These are the banners and if you resize the screen smaller you will see that that the pictures do not resize correctly.
    See also attached pictures.

    Can you try to publish the module in other position? Because when I try to inspect that position, it's indeed wrapper for that position divided into 2 columns for smartphone viewport

    It is now in section-1 which is just below the slider at the top. Section-1 is one column.
    If I resize smaller, the images still does not resize correctly.

    Can you provide a temporary access to your web site so I can check it by myself? If it's possible you can provide it in the 'Your Site Details' below. Only you and support agent who will be able to see it.

    I don't think this is the way to go because as you can see the height changes but the width is struggling to keep in the ratio.
    Isn't there something in the css that can be set to "auto" in order to resize the width in relation to the height because only the height can be set in the settings and only in pixels and not in %.

    Have a look at the slider at the header of the page.
    Those are wide pictures but if resized to smaller, the ratio of the picture is kept in place.
    This is where the banner goes wrong.

    Just compare the pictures attached and focus on the egg in the banner. The banner is out of proportion but the image in the slider adjusts perfectly.

    Hi sorry for delay in responding.
    Have a look at the slider at the header of the page.
    Those are wide pictures but if resized to smaller, the ratio of the picture is kept in place.
    This is where the banner goes wrong.

    It's because both of them using different approaches.
    One is using background (it's working good on screen resizing, but some portion of image will be hide on the small devices) and the other one using image (all parts images are displayed but sometimes it doesn't resize well with full width template).
    I will look into the codebase to see if there is anything I can fix and will update you soon

    No improvement, see picture attached. I don't understand your solution because the issue is not on a larger screen but when it needs to be resized to a smaller screen. See previous comments.

    Now I have added a second smaller banner on the right sidebar which is 300x250. The issue is even worse now. Titles do not resize and the image is completely out of ratio. See picture attached.

    This is not workable. Your product is named responsive but it isn't.

    Hi, this is the best I can do at the moment because further fix will need a major codebase changes. We're actually already plan a major update (major codebase update) in near future that will also cover issue on this style 2 of sequence effect, but unfortunately no ETA yet.

    So, sorry if that fix still doesn't work with your website.
    If you no longer want to use the module please contact us at https://www.templateplazza.com/contact-us with your paypal transaction id. We will issue you a full refund.

    Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

    Decided not to go for the refund but fix it myself. First I had to overcome the abundant use of "!important" in the style.css which prevents overrides in for example custom.css. I removed all of them in the style.css of sequence style 2.
    Furthermore the only thing that needed to be done was the following overrides.
    Please keep up the good work because this is one of the better modules that works with the Joomla banner system but please make it more flexible to configure and get rid of the !important tags in the style.css.

    This css is for 928x60 banners.

    div#responsivebannerslider-container{
    padding-top:20px;
    padding-bottom:100px;
    width: 728px!important;
    height: 90px!important;
    margin:auto!important;
    }

    .seqtitle a {
    font-size: 22px!important;
    background:transparent!important;
    color: #ed1c24!important;
    }

    .subseqtitle {
    font-size: 18px!important;
    background:transparent!important;
    color: #0054a6!important;
    }

    Ahh .. glad to to hear you've managed to solve it.

    Hopefully we can update it in the near future. Thanks!
