Mini Frontpage problem

I have Mini Front Page on the homepage of my site to show recently added products, it looks great except the title does not link to the products, when clicked on it just reloads the homepage. My site is http://backgardenbee.co.uk/, if anyone could have a look I would be most grateful.

Cheers.

Hi, I've checked it here, and it looks like the title is already linked properly?

That is strange, I have checked it on Chrome, Firefox and IE and get the same result every time, it looks like it is connecting to the product and the url changes but all that happens is that the homepage is reloaded.

This is the url that appears : http://backgardenbee.co.uk/index.php/16-products/bath-bombs/52-organic-antioxidant-bath-bomb

But the url that should be loaded is this one : http://backgardenbee.co.uk/index.php/shop/bath-bombs/view/52-organic-antioxidant-bath-bomb

It's a likely because the known issue of joomla item id. Can you try to create a hidden 'blog category' menu for the shop/bath-bombs page?
From your menu manager (Menus > Menu Manager) create a new menu. Name it Hidden Menu (or anything you want it).
Then create 'Category Bog' menu items under this newly created Hidden menu, for all of your article categories (including the shop/bath-bombs category).

Sorry, I dont quite understand what you are asking me to do, to convert my articles to Category Blog menu items? The reason I am using J2Store is because I like the layout and it is adapted to handle the sale of my products. If I convert them to Category Blog menu items will I not lose this function?

    Hi HuwP,
No, I didn't ask you to change what you the way you have a done. Joomla have a known item id behaviour that sometimes make annoying issue just like you have. A workaround for that issue is to creating a new hidden menu. It should not have any effect on your j2store page

Okay, So it has sort of worked, however now it is redirecting to the hidden menu article instead of the J2Store version. How can I sort this out?

Hi HuwP, How about to use the native j2store module? Because indeed minifrontpage is designed for joomla article only not tested with j2store.
