MF showing created date instead of start publishing date

Good morning

I created a lot of articles already, for example for birthdays, I can work almost a year upfront.

let's assume I create all news-items today, august 13.
the person's birthday is at august 15.

So I have in the publishing-tab in Joomla:
Start Publishing 2020-08-15 00:00:01
Finish Publishing 2020-11-01 00:00:01
Created Date 2020-08-13 10:39:12

So on august 15, 2 days from now, MiniFrontpage will show the the birthday-item. That is correct
BUT for the date, MF will display 2020-08-13. the daye from now. Because it's using the "created date" instead of the "start publishing" date.

How can we fix this?
Now I need to modify all news-items again, and change the "created date" to "start publishing" date.

To me, there is no logic in that. "Start publishing" date is more important I guess.

I'm using MF 3.0.2

Greetings

    Good morning
I saw there was an unpdate:

    ****
    Version 3.0.2 - 07-02-2020
+ Added static file versioning for better update-safe
    - Filter by modified date now will show modified date instead of created date
    ****

Shoudn't that be the "publish date"?
That is the date we choose when we want to show some topics
